Dating Safety Notice

Invitation is not verification. Verification is not a background check. Matching is not a guarantee of safety or compatibility.

Communicating safely

• There is no substitute for acting with caution when communicating with a stranger who wants to meet you.
• Do not initially reveal your last name, personal email, home address, phone number, workplace, parish schedule, or other identifying information.
• Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information or tries to trick you into revealing it.
• Never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, account credentials, or financial information to a match.
• Consider a phone or video conversation before meeting.

Meeting safely

• Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you expect to return.
• Use your own transportation. Do not agree to be picked up at home.
• Meet in a populated public place and remain in control of your transportation and drinks.
• Leave if you feel unsafe. Contact emergency services—not Solange—during an immediate emergency.

Current safety-tool limits

Solange reviews profiles and photographs before visibility. User reporting and blocking are not currently available. Until those tools ship, stop communicating when concerned and use emergency services when immediate help is needed. A published support contact is still required before public launch.
